AmPro Foundation

Built for Accountability and Impact

AMPRO Foundation carries out humanitarian and relief programmes that support vulnerable communities globally. Our work focuses on delivering practical assistance through well-managed initiatives, guided by accountability and long-term intent.

What We Do

Our programmes focus on areas where sustained support can make a meaningful difference. This includes humanitarian relief, food security, community support, healthcare initiatives, and programmes that fulfill religious obligations such as Qurban.

Each initiative is planned and delivered with care, ensuring that assistance is appropriate, transparent, and respectful to the communities served.

AMPRO Holdings

While the Foundation focuses on programme delivery and on-the-ground impact, AMPRO Holdings provide governance, oversight, and long-term stewardship. This structure ensures that all initiatives are carried out responsibly, with clear accountability and sustainable planning.

This separation allows our humanitarian work to remain focused, transparent, and well-managed.

Our Approach to Accountability

Accountability and Governance

We place strong emphasis on responsible management and clear processes. From programme selection to implementation and reporting, our approach is designed to ensure that resources are used appropriately and that outcomes are clearly documented.

Where applicable, contributors receive confirmation and updates to provide transparency into how programmes are carried out.

Partners in Humanitarian Action

We work alongside established humanitarian organizations and partners to deliver programmes effectively across different regions. These partnerships allow us to extend our reach while maintaining standards of accountability and operational integrity.

Qurban-Amal-AMPRO

AMPRO’s qurban package under the brandname QURBAN-amal-AMPRO started in 1999. The initial aim was to provide a service to a large pool of potential qurban participants as a complement to qurban done by the mosques.

We have since evolved and our QURBAN-amal-AMPRO is now an established brandname in the qurban sector, offering affordable qurban packages and successfully combining the qurban ibadah with humanitarian aid.

Another unique feature of our qurban: we introduced canning – our qurban meat is pre-cooked and canned. This makes it a source of ready to eat food, and since canning increases the shelf life of the meat, it is most suitable for delivery to crisis-stricken areas, with difficult terrain and poor infrastructure.

Apart from canned qurban we also offer hard frozen qurban and local slaughter – ie qurban done in the most impoverished places where the most needy are to be found.

Community In Need

An initiative that aims to deliver food aid to poverty-stricken territories, particularly Somalia and Ethiopia through our “Feed the World” programme.

Water Relief (Bekalan Air Bersih)

More than 660 million people in the world lack access to clean drinking water. This works out to 1 in every 10 people. Without access to water a community cannot function. Farmers and local business cannot operate. Children are often kept out of school because walking for water takes so much of time.

The lack of clean water also force many to drink contaminated water which causes them to contract water-borne diseases for which they cannot afford to treat.

Through Water Relief you can give communities a precious gift – safe water to drink, to clean and wash, to grow crops and to feed the animals. Not only is this lifesaving but is the first step to generating sustainable  economic activities.  The availability of work and children going back to school will help get these  vulnerable communities out of poverty. Build a water well in your name or your loved ones at any one of these places:

      – Bangladesh
      – Nepal
      – Pakistan

When your well is built, you will receive a feedback report and you will discover how your gift has help change lives.

Rapid Emergency Response (Bantuan Kecemasan Pantas)

Our involvement in Rapid Emergency Response began in 2012. Up to date we have responded to natural disasters, refugees from crises and conflict situations. In all these circumstances people are battling to survive, civilians targeted amidst conflict and communities persecuted and displaced. We have provided support every year since 1999, such as:

2012 : Mobility items – wheelchairs, commodes, walkers and walking sticks to Syrian refugees
2013 : Clothing and food items to Syrian refugees
2014 & 2015 : Medical aid to Al Karama Hospital and Dar Essalam in Gaza, Palestine
2015 : Food aid to famine victims in Somalia and Ethiopia
2016 : Food Aid to children and other victims in Aleppo, Syria
2017 : Food, water, shelter and medical aid to Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh
2018 : Rohingya Emergency Response & Yemen Emergency Response

Empowering Women, Children & Orphan Aid (Project Ibu dan Anak)

A program to empower women to make them financially independent. This project also looks at helping children and orphans holistically from food to health and schooling.

Empowering Women through Skills Training

The plan in the pipeline is to provide women with a stable source of income through equipping them with skills that will ensure economic sustainability. For example we will provide women with sewing machines to help them acquire sewing skills to start home-based business. Through Education – all women should at least  be able to read and write.

Children

Poverty stands in the way of a better life. Education will help these children escape poverty through opportunities for better jobs and the long-term positive impact through generations.

To this end, we will help to equip schools with educational assistance and facilities – trained teachers as well as desks, chairs, libraries, text books, stationery and play equipment – to provide an environment for quality teaching and learning.

Orphans

Natural disasters, man-made crises and conflicts have caused some 153 million children worldwide to become orphans. For them the threat of poverty is a constant.

Your participation in our aid packages will provide these children with education, food, heath and nutrition and safe shelter in Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sudan, The Gambia and Gaza, Palestine.

Open Your Eyes

In developing countries people with visual impairment are living in darkness. Yet simple eye checks, medicines/vitamins, or operations can restore their sight. You can prevent and treat blindness by supporting our Open Your Eyes Mobile Clinics Camps and Eye Treatments.

Mobile Clinic Camps: The targets are rural communities. A clinic camp is set up to conduct routine eye checks, vision tests, and to provide glasses and medicines as required.

Eye Treatments: For more complex eye problems, our mobile ophthalmologists will refer these cases to the nearest hospitals for further tests and operations.

Restore someone’s sight. Act now and participate in our aid packages.
